My husband, Dennis, had been diagnosed May 21, 2012 with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia / Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma. While driving home from a treatment, he stopped at an Alpaca Farm and decided he wanted his own. Chemo, the chemicals, fights the cancer, but what treats the mental health? In our case, it's the Alpaca's . With the help from his sister, we started a small, but growing herd of multi colored Huacaya's. Spending time with the "Kid's" as we call them, can ease the troubles you may be having on any given day. We love to show off the "Kid's" and share our knowledge of the Alpaca with other's.
